Extremity Adjustments

Extremity means arms and legs, hands or feet, etc. Chiropractors adjust or manipulate the hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet, ankles, knees and jaw joints. Chiropractors have published studies of treament for acute inversion ankle sprain, knee problems, elbow pain (lateral epicondylitis), plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, Achilles tendonitis, hip osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff muscle injury, carpal tunnel syndrome, ribs and TMJ (jaw joint).  Knee problems that develope gradually over time, without tramatic injury, and if caught early, can usually be helped with corrective orthotics, which help balance "excessive pronation" of the feet.
